Music festival

Ive not posted much the last few days because I am hard at work on the music festival.
Its gotten hectic the last few days. Just like I remember last year.
As a result, Ive not felt much like posting, and didnt feel I had anything relevant to say anyways.
:) Yea i know, some will say i never do, so ....
Anyways, We will have more on the hospital in coming days in the paper.
Id like to hear from the hospital people about why they chose this location.
And why they didnt choose other locations.
Maybe they are right.
But hopefully we can bring you those reasons soon.

The music festival is going pretty good. I am just tired. Been preparing mailings and such, dealing with musicians, making arrangements and begging for money.

We do still need some money. We have an account at Union State Bank.

you mean those pansies aren't willing to stand before the public and give an account for their actions? they should all be forced to resign if they won't stand before the public to defend themselves!

What's this I hear about HNB firing one of it's higher up people recently because they didn't fall in line with the new way of doing business? What exactly is the new way of doing business that upset this person, and should we members be wary? Does JJ know anything?

Re HNB: Read the outside press - they are under watch.

Which outside press?

JJ, I like your new blog page colors! You might want to change the text color on the poll results, maybe? They are hard to read.

If the bike path is going to be funded by Creekstone and state tax money, I say go for it.

I think a new hospital would be great. However, putting it halfway between Ark City and Winfield only benefits Winfield. If that's what they want to do, they should be asking the county for help. Local dollars need to stay local.
