Sunday

Ive been sick since the interview with Kasha, so have not posted.
That was not what made me sick though.
Doing better, but still not at 100 percent.
Here is a good thought for today.

John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-
John 1:13 children born not of natural descent, [fn] nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Hey JJ any way I could get the Traveler to post something saying it is okay for the kids to skate in the rhotunda at Wilson Park? People keep calling them in to the police station which just ties up the lines for an actual emergency. Both the commission and the police have stated that it is okay until they get a skate park. They do need to stay of the benches, stage and tables and if it has been reserved they need to move on but otherwise it is a safe place for them to go for the time being. Also if the city employees and adults of the community would please stop trying to pick fights with 14 year old children I would greatly appreciate it. I've witnessed this on a couple occasions down there and though I won't say any names I will say please act your age and walk away rather then name call and cuss at a bunch of children.

Judging on some of the immature behavior on here, now why does that not surprise me? Adults picking on kids.

JJ, what kind of spider was it? I got a spider bite and it made me sick to my stomache and I broke out in a rash.

Not sure really. Might have been a brown recluse ?
from what ive read, usually its a couple days later before people know, so they never know for sure.
Was in the basement Thursday night.
Friday a.m., suddenly my feet started burning and itching. THey were swollen and red. Hurt to walk.
Fever
some nausea.
by friday p.m. i looked like i had sunburn all over me and my face was swollen.
Even Sunday my feet were still sore.

Also, please make sure they know it is NOT ok to skate on the Hogan patio. It is posted, but there seems to be some confusion there.

Also, we had damage found Wed. to the concrete benches, bird baths and fountains. Graffiti was painted on the tables and concrete. More damage done in one incident than the volunteers have ever seen to the property. It's really sad! I'm sure Cleo is rolling in her grave.
