Hot buttons

Yesterday was Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and today is the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion.

There's two hot topics ready to go. Robert E. Lee's birthday is also this week.

Anyone want to wade into those battles ?

Martin Luther King Day is just another way for newspaper employees to fanagle a half day off. Every time you turn around, you folks are taking a half day off. Next thing you know, you'll want full day holidays. Forget that! Now get back to work and quit dinking around on the computer. That ain't what you're paid for!

The main problem with Roe v. Wade is that it didn't allow the right to retroactive abortions. There are some people who should be mandated to retroactive abortions. Can anyone truthfully say that Barbara Bush should not have had an abortion? Should she not be allowed to have a retroactive abortion? Mission accomplished!

Robert E. Lee died for your sins. When he took that saber to the gills at the Battle of Gettysburg, it wasn't just for the fun of it. Now that left some real scars. Our great country is still healing from them Red Coats raping our children and mothers. Besides that, John Wilkes Booth was an al Quaeda sleeper. Where was Homeland Security when we needed it? At home sitting on the couch and playing nintendo. Robert E. Lee was a saint compared to Dick "shoot 'em in the face" Cheney. Whom would you rather go hunting with? What's the difference between a southerner and a son of a bitch? The Ohio River!
