Christmas lights

A cool tradition of ours is to drive around and look at Christmas lights.
thats been kind of a culture shock living in a small town, theres just not as much area to explore.
anyways.
we are compiling a list and checking it twice.
of where the nice lights are. mostly we are sticking to arkansas city, but .. we might include some other towns.
so let me know where they are
ill probably start running the list monday or so.

Went looking with the grandkids last night. Doesn't seem to be as many lights as usual...kinda disappointing, especially in the more elite neighborhoods that used to draw in crowds. Island Park in Winfield has a few new ones. We'll try again next week. Meanwhile, those that we saw were enjoyed.

Cool idea, James. Maybe it will inspire others to get those lights on. Speaking of which, mine are already needing TLC. I think I'll go fix them before someone goes lookin! :)

400 block East 5th Ave, [north side of street] next to fire department. The lady has really shown the community spirit.

James,

I'm a person who dabbles in real estate and I'd like to know what you consider the "elite neighborhoods". I'm not judging or criticizing, here. Just honestly curious to know, especially since you come from outside our town and could offer a different perspective.
