Let's hear it for HNB. Security cameras that actually produce pictures rather than blurs.

I think he is wearing a mouth piece. Maybe the teeth were not real?

How scary this must of been for the teller, She's sitting there and looking up at him like " Oh no"- She definitely knows it's coming ( glasses and a hat) You know they have signs up that ask that you remove hats and glasses for safety reasons. The scary thing is, I bank there and use the ATM at that branch almost daily and the thought that my daughter could of been in there with me, VERY Scary. I do believe in karma, So I shouldn't say this, But wouldn't it of been awesome when he was running back from the bank that a car smacked him ( not killing or seriously injuring him) but surely making him stop in his tracks. With the economy the way it is, I'm not surprised that someone would go to these measures. Still doesn't give a person the right.... But it does shed light on a purpose for someone to do something so stupid. But I think Mr. Thief isn't from here and had been at the casino having some fun. They should check surveillance there.

I'm not really that impressed with the pictures myself.

Casey's north has a better surveillance than that.

jawline, teeth... nice disguise. I don't think the teeth are real, therefore the jaw line is extended.

They were in the goodwill store before the robbery.

How do you know they were in the goodwill store? Curious as when I was out in the shopping center around 12:20 or so I did see two police officers coming out of the store. Very interesting!

They said the guy had no identifying marks (tattoos, etc). Probably a reason he was chosen to go in vs. his friends. If he had very noticeable teeth, he could not be able to hide them when the cops came to question him. I think the teeth were fake, and if they were not his buddy would have done the robbery. ????

Maybe thats where the officers get their uniforms, since they don't get very good pay! Surely they get a discount their! LOL!

If you are going to insult people, at least use THERE and THEIR correctly! Jeez!

I was most certainly not making fun of anyone, especially the police, I am making fun of the idea that they don't get paid enough for their job... Mr(Mrs.) Know it all. Any police officers in here? I apologize you took that as an insult.

HUMOR! Look up the word!

Not complaining about my pay.

Anonymous said...

I agree, police officers starting pay is not enough for putting their lives on the line everyday.

Why wish for a car to hit him? Why not a person with a gun shoot him?
Or a baseball player beat him with a bat?
Oh but please be sure not to kill him....get real!
Shoot the bastard and feed his carcass to the fish!

Jean Snell thanks for your invaluable insight about the security camera quality.

Almost makes me want to put one in my house, but I guess the city will have to lower the curb tax, water bill and property tax so I have enough money left over to be robbed.

Let's hear it for not building LOWE'S. Come on people, I have my shovel, and even a backhoe to dig up this dead horse. Wanna gripe some more about one not being built? How about you Jean? Feeling happy about the school bond passing, but no LOWE's?

And as for the law enforcement in AC. They are absolutly top notch people. Mell Kuhn needs to pull his head out of his butt and enact a SWAT team, instead of making the officers buy their own gear.

Get real Mell, that is unfair of the city. You should support the law enforcement, not tear it down.

By The Way. Just because you build a fence around your junky property, does not mean that you still do not need to clean it up, all kinds of rats are running in your field.

And while I am on a roll. What's with the 13 to 16 year old kids sitting in front of Grinder Man...yelling and swearing at traffic, riding skate boards in the street to see if cars will stop? One of the boys grabbed a yound girl sitting on the bench and pulled her backwards, yelling "TEABAG" as he put her face in his crotch. The little turds need to be grounded and the parents need to take responsibility for their actions before we have another case of "JODI".

And yes I did just go there, these "teens" need to know what they are doing is wrong and against the law. If parents can't control them, then the cops ought to send them to jail.

I remember when I did something wrong as a child. The first thing out of the gentleman who caught me's mouth was "who is your father?" When we see kids like this, maybe we should ask them the same question? It taught me a lesson.

good point. that's the problem now. no fathers. absentee fathers. children fathered by children. or at least very immature adults. lost waifs, filled with testosterone & or estrogen. much of the time having a grandparent trying to give them a future. thank God for grandparents. used to be, the thing you feared the worst was...WAIT TILL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME.

good question. "who is your father." might be surprised at the answer you get.

jail...hmmm. kansas' prison system is about filled to capacity now. what do we do when there is no more prison beds? build bigger prisons?

"who is your father." maybe that's why these young men are out robbing, looting, & worse.

Sad.

Yea it is sad.
Some people tried to help them organize and build a skate park.
It would have taken work on their part, and none of them apparently wanted to.
They do still have a skate park, though its not that great.

Actually I don't think this comment is fair, you might want to rephrase your reply.

I have been around some of the teenagers who wanted to build a skate park, and they were well behaved and polite. As with most things in life, the actions of a few color the reputation of the many.

Please forgive me for posting something positive on this blog, however I believe the majority of the teenagers in AC are decent young men and women. They deserve better than to be lumped in with a small group of troublemakers.

Point well taken.
There are some good kids who skateboard.
I dont know what happened to the skateboarding organization, ... but it was starting up at one point.
