Presidential candidates rant

Here are a couple of web sites that have candidate information.
There are other parties out there, and other candidates.
The first web site link is a link to all candidates, it does a good job of listing them all, but doesnt have a lot on any of them.
The second link is the Washington Post for crying out loud.
This is a great case in point. one of the biggest and most respected newspapers - news organizations - in the nation, and from their site youd think there were only two candidates.

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/2008-presidential-candidates/

The National Media is part of the conspiracy to maintain the political status quo.
Its just money and power .. with little or no interest in the wellbeing of the nation itself.
And they do lean to the left, and generally support the democrat. Just look at how "fair" they have been in this election. They're almost making me feel sorry for Palin.
Almost.
But that's just part of the show.
They don't tell us about the other candidates because the current two party system maintains the status quo and the power structure.
If other parties were given even tacit coverage, people would see their options and might vote accordingly, ... and maybe those candidates would actually do something.
Other parties would weaken the power structure, and the power structure is a huge cash cow for the likes of ABC, NBC, CNN etc., so they are just protecting their own.

Just watch, whether Obama or McCain wins, it wont matter at all, all we will get is more back biting and fighting until the next cycle when we will change parties again.

Ok, that's my conspiracy theory for today.
THe answer is for us citizens to do our own homework and to vote for a third party candidate whenever we can.
We do not have to vote as the national media tells us to. The two choices - rep or dem - are meaningless choices. Choosing either one is a vote for status quo power structure.
We could make a difference if, as a large group of people, were to start voting for other candidates. Would be tough, but ....
I think im going to vote for Chuck Baldwin.

I agree JJ. It's getting really OLD, the Reps or the Dems.

I just want someone honest about helping others, honest about doing the right thing, and honest enough to stop stealing our money! ;)
Of course, you know, that ain't gonna happen. :(

Ok. You're obviously looking for someone else to fix all the problems. Politicians to the rescue?
If we want to compare the past with the present then look at whats changed -
You want a strong middle class but don't support a stong family structure. Divorce ends with two
households and double the expenses.
Those who do not marry and choose to have families want to be provided for without paying the same costs or commitments.
You want all you can get now and are willing to trade future income with interest to get it. As long as you can make the payments things are fine!
You are willing to allow someone else to do the jobs. Because they do/will and for a lot less there
is no stair step to higher paying jobs. The stairs are blocked with a waiting list of those willing to
fill the jobs.
You are willing to borrow into the future generations income to have what you want today.
You want to live the type lifestyle you choose regardless of how it effects family and/or society locally/nationally.
You want to maintain the current standard of living or higher but then contribute as little as possible to building/rebuilding or maintaining the necessary critical infrastructure.
You want to retain the old technology answers rather than support new innovative products ideas that make us leaders and not followers. We want to educate our competition equip them with knowledge. Yet we can't get our own youth to graduate High School.
So, who do you think is capable of correcting the problems?
You can't compare the past with the present and if things run their present course the future may very well be much worse!
I certainly don't expect you to agree!

i dont totally disagree with that.
There is a spiritual aspect to all this as well.
Its not that i think politicians need to (or can) come to the rescue. Actually i probably agree with you more on that,
Youre pointing out the problems.
Im saying that the politicans who claim to have answers really dont.
Are we that different?

I don't know who posted the anonymous@7:46 p.m., but, thanks.

Politicians never solved anything. They are supposed to lead the way. The actual work SHOULD be done by us.

We can't wait for someone else to rescue us. It starts with us. Volunteer. Serve. Feed a hungry orphan. Help the widow next door. Go back to school. Attend Church. Help out around town. That's where it starts. Right here.

I could never compromise on some very basic things. (some other things I can negotiate, tolerate, or even put up with)
This is what seperates me from Barack Obama. Abortion and the Homosexual Agenda. (BTW, I think Barack's probably a nice guy)

Plain and simple. Or as I said on another blog. Crystal clear.

This nation better learn to pray. And pray we will. One way or another.
James, I appreciate you saying that there is a spiritual aspect to this.
We have turned our backs on God. Began to kill those who cannot fend for themselves. Our KS Governor honors & celebrates the child-killer Dr. Tiller. I know there have been abortions since the beginning of time. But, the question is, where do you stand on the issue? Can you in good conscience cast your vote for a man or woman who promises to make sure they continue? I cannot.

We've put up what God calls "abomination" as normal or 'alternative lifestyle'.
It seems that our Blessing is swiftly departing from us. He who gave can can also take away.

Democrat, Republican, or Independents can't get us out of this one. If anyone thinks Barack Or McCain has the answer, they are just kidding themselves.

I think the Creator God is trying desperately to get our attention. Question is: Who is listening...

Why are you deleting my messages Neo? There is room in the matrix for two JJ's is there not?

JJ you sound like sarah palin. I read a whole bunch of words, but I don't hear any plans, solutions etc..., hey, you're having us on aren't you? Trying out a writing style that imitates McCain's monkey.

I like it. It is VERY funny!

No this web's not big enough for the both of us.

I think they all talk ideas but have nothing to offer.
My solution is this ... reject both the dems and pubs.
vote or a third party, eventually we will get a third party... one that will actually work for solutions.

Then why do they take our money and that is money above and beyond what their salary is supposed to be.

Im saying that the politicans who claim to have answers really dont

JJ are you saying they have no answers at all or just not the right answers for you. There are some who think some of there answers are right for them. So I just wonder are these you personal views or the views of your social group??

My personal views.
Im quiet able to think for myself:)

What im trying to get at, is that i think both sides are mostly interested in their own political power and monetary gain ... and not the interest of the country.
No one, or no group, is absolutely right or wrong about every thing.
It isnt even a question of right or wrong, or correct versus incorrect.
The question is ...
where are our leaders?
I just dont have confidence in either the dems or pubs...
is that so radical? :)

Some trust in chariot...
Some trust in politicians....

As for me, I choose to trust in the Lord!

Having said that:

No one man or woman can solve this worlds ills. We, in our greed, have done great disservice to our nation, and to ourselve.

People, please begin to think and vote accordingly. Be careful, be informed, and then vote.

What was wrong with the whole blog response. The love of money is the ROOT of all evil and we have a lopt of evil in our leaders in the capitals when in comes to greed for self gratifacation. Just answer that for me you don't have to post it I will know what you are responding to if you use your own words again from above.

I should not have pointed out there is some of everything in both parties UH? Could not be anything like that in this great melting pot of a country.
