the veep debates

I didn't watch the vp debate and from news reports ive read, looks like I didn't miss much.
Im still working on last minute details for the concert.
It does seem that the VP candidates are more important this time around. But the partisan bickering seems to reach to any issue now.
Politicians being politicians, tend to like to distort things, or spin things, in their own way. Here is a link to a story that shows the reality of some of their claims. Both candidates stretched things. Just a little reality check on both.

I think it's funny how yesterday the mainstream media was declaring that this was the most important debate of the election, and that their was so much riding on it. And now, since Palin didn't make a fool of herself like they were hoping, and actually held her own quite well, they are saying it doesn't really matter. The bias in the media is so obvious. It makes me sick.

She didn't hold her own, She did do better than everyone expected her to do. But, she was robotic and only spoke on stuff she was preped to say, She was well rehearsed.. But how is that going to help her, You can't stop and read cue cards or a teloprompter to be able to think when your a president and right now.. When someone else it telling her what to say and how to say and when to say it, It does make her look clueless. She has been closed off from the public in Arizona preping for a week ( McCain camp called it " debate camp") Go look at the interviews she did when she wasn't being told what to say, She made a fool of herself. I will give her this, She was a lot better then she has been lately. But Biden won hands down, He so could of KO'd her little butt, He restrained and ignored her and kept the focus where it should be, On McCain. And right now, The polls are showing that with undecideds, Biden is dominating and that's a good thing.

I would like to hear Palin speak without the McCain people controlling her. I like her, but I'm not sure I like what they are doing to her.

"I would like to hear Palin speak without the McCain people controlling her."

How is that different than how W is manipulated by Cheney and Rove.

The real risk here is that even though McCain and Palin are talking like they have absolutely nothing to do with the W administration, the "handlers" and speechwriters and other very creepy politicians (Tom Delay and others)that were the puppetmasters during the W administration are in full support behind the scenes.

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain (running the levers and stoking the fires), it is Carl Rove.

Change? Sure. McCain will give you change. Just as much as the power brokers will let him.

McCain will be totally different from W for about 30 days. Then it is business as usual.

Remember what Eisenhower said about the military industrial complex running the U.S. ...

They're here, and they're repuglicans.

ROTFLMAO

If you believe all that Conspiracy theory mess...

well to be polite, (which I'm usually not) I got a bridge I'd like to sell ya.

Bridge, Did someone use that word. Like the bridge to no where that Sarah supported, Then flip flopped on. You know "She told them thanks, But no thanks"- She's a girl that says no to "wasteful spending and earmarks"... Sure ya do Sarah Barracuda! I LOVE LOVE that video of McCain going after the "bridge to no where" Sarah.. Haha then he picks her for VP. So if that's the bridge you're selling you can just keep it, I ain't buying it- I already know that it doesn't go anywhere.

Anyhoo- I loved the front page story ( Sat.) asking who won the debate. What a joke, By golly gee Chuck that there Sarah's wons that debate- I's asked 9 peoples what they thoughts and by geez they says that she won, Even somes that didn't even watch the debate says shess wons.

Though though though though. No, I don't stutter. Really, I do know how to spell thoughT.

No, But seriously, Why? Traveler, Why? One, You asked 9 people what they thought. Wow, Wtg you! Two people said that Joe Biden won, Two didn't even watch the debate- ( That should disqualify them- I mean, How can you say one person won a debate without watching the WHOLE thing.) Say it ain't so Joes.. So my math skills tell me that 5 people said she won.. And that my friends was enough to call her the winner!! whoo- hoo!! Give her your Barbie Mell. Why the hell don't we just vote that way, By walking down the street and just asking, No more registering to vote, It would be much more easier and better for those who are lazy and don't want to put the effort in to it, It would be fair and non-biased way of voting... Oh oh, Sorry I just started mixing the Newspaper with the election. I forgot, FauxNews paved the way for biased reporting, So it's okay to do that now- Everywhere.

Ohh wait, I forgot, We live in a red state.. So of course she won!

There is no way your candidate Obama will get elected. I agree this country needs a change, but I'd rather not give it to someone who wants to turn it into the soviet union. Taking money from the rich, and giving it to the poor works great in a Robin Hood movie, but here in the real world, we call that socialism. Not to mention the fact that Obama would strip us of our second amendment rights asap.

I'd rather deal with "McSame" and the VPILF for 4 or 8 more years, and then hopefully the republicans can give us someone worth voting for next time.

Robin Hood Obama! He steals from the rich and gives to the poor.

In the meantime, what is he going to do for the middle class? If he really raises taxes for the successful business owners, won't he just eliminate our jobs? Then what? We can go on welfare, too? Do you think 5% of the country could support 95%?

Obama talks middle class every minute he gets, McCain can't even MUTTER the words middle class. Did you not watch the first debate? Not one word. How about the VP debate. People just don't get it, The right is trying very hard to diminish the middle class, If McCain is elected they will be closer to getting it done... There will only be two types of people in our country, The rich and the poor. And guess which side the people in THIS town will fall on?

According to the mayor, we already do!
